CONSULTING ROOMS AVAILABLE

CD&A are an established counselling and psychotherapy practice in Leicester. Since April 2006 we have extended our services as we took on additional rooms within our existing building. We are still able to offer some space in our consulting rooms to qualified and experienced practitioners and supervisors in health care and therapy who may be interested in new or alternative accommodation for their practice.

We are willing to discuss arrangements for practitioners who are in advanced clinical training and are preparing for qualification too.
The building is redecorated and refurbished inside and out and is secure, quiet and safe.

GROUP THERAPY

I am planning to start a small therapy group for those who are in psychotherapy training. This will meet on a weekday morning and I will have a maximum size of five. Contact me if this applies to you and you are interested. We will be meeting at this address.

We have had some interest from current and former clients in group therapy at The Coach House and there is a possibility that we might be able to offer this service in October-November. There are plans to run a monthly therapy group which will be a blend of Transactional Analysis and Bodywork Psychotherapy. This would be delivered by a visiting therapist, Sue Hampton PTSTA who is also a bodywork psychotherapist. Initially Sue would offer a two day workshop which will be a blend of training and therapy principles. You can email her directly. TRAINING COURSES

I will be offering a weekend transactional analysis training course (TA101) in the Autumn if there is sufficient interest. This course covers the basic principles of TA: philosophy and principles, ego states, strokes, transactions, scripts, games, rackets, life positions, autonomy, and healthy relationships. The cost for a two day weekend will be between £100 and £120 and is open to an individual or couple who are interested. Please contact me well in advance so we can arrange a suitable date. I am hoping for a group size of at least ten. This course is internationally recognised and will be certificated.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

I am now offering accredited TA supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists in advanced clinical training. I am available to individuals and can offer a regular supervision group.

My colleague and associate Dr Gilly Ball will be running two alternating fortnightly clinical supervision groups from July. Each of the groups meet in the late afternoon on Thursdays. Contact Gilly on 0116 2700049


TA SUPERVISION GROUP

I will be offering a new TA supervision group from March. Group size is a maximum of three trainees to meet regularly at a mutually convenient time during the week. Contact me if you are interested.
