Greetings; my name is Netifnet - Welcome to my page.
Have you ever wished that instead of saying “I’m fine” you could say how you really felt, and that someone would take the time to listen to you? Perhaps you have kept your thoughts and feelings to yourself through fear of being put down, judged, or laughed at? Or maybe you find yourself putting your problems aside because you feel the other person is more important?
People choose to come to counselling for many different reasons, but all wish the same outcomes – to be heard, to be understood, and to feel better and more able to enjoy life.
Modern life has become so fast paced that it can be hard to find time for others, let alone yourself. Counselling is the opportunity to sort your thoughts; gives you time to work out what you really feel, the space to consider your options, and decide what you feel is best for you. It could be seen as a journey; with me as your travelling companion, and you planning the route we take, choosing when and where to rest, and which are the places of interest.
While I do not have a magic wand, I do have a listening ear, and hope to be able to help you find ways of overcoming the obstacles that are preventing you from living the life you wish for. As a professional counsellor I aim to provide you with the safe and confidential space that you need to say what you think and feel, without fear of judgement, or rejection. You are the main focus of our time together, and we will work together according to whatever issues you bring to each session, because ultimately I believe you are the expert on you.
